Condition is Used.


Vinyl condition: VG - this means that you will hear subtle background noise, crackle at the needle drop, between tracks and during quiet passages

Labels: NM - No writing, stains, tears, etc.

Jacket/Sleeve/Cover: VG -this jacket has a clean and strong image with all corners, seams and spine string and intact. Corners are showing wear. The jackets has no holes, no cutouts, no writing, no stains, no creases (see photos).

First LP by Donald Shirley on Cadence Records, CLP 1001, released in 1955, many years before his tour through the South as portrayed in the movie "Green Book." (Good article on Donald Shirley in Wikipedia.) The liner notes describe the nuances of the musical selections exceptionally well. They are written by Al "Jazzbo" Collins. Record plays well. There is a bit of crackle, but not enough to significantly diminish your listening pleasure.
