Description
I’m a retired jazz musician, and will be selling a bunch of my old jazz records over the next month or so. Please note I am unable to meet in person - all records will be carefully packed and shipped. I tend to grade conservatively, and am easy to deal with if a return is needed.
Donald Byrd “A New Perspective,” Blue Note 4124 mono vinyl LP. This pressing has the “ear,” “VAN GELDER,” and “NEW YORK USA” on both sides, no deep grooves. From what I have read on discogs, this can be considered to be a first pressing.
Sleeve - VG+. Light wear and foxing, writing on back. Quite nice. Includes original inner promo sleeve (torn) as well as a modern protective inner sleeve.
Vinyl - EX. Looks close to new. Clean, outstanding listen with very light background noise. One slightly feelable but non-audible quarter inch hairline on Side A Track 1, otherwise excellent with very light superficial marks.
