Description
This is Blue Note Records BST 84124,Donald Byrd A New Perspective, a blue and white, New York USA label stereo issue of this wonderful recording with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a very strong VG+) showing a few light marks on both sides. The record plays quietly except for occasional background crackle and some distortion of the piano on the last track of side 1. This is still a fine listening experience. The cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with light or no spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this wonderful Blue Note. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years.
