Description
This is a second, 1966, pressing of "Byrd In Flight" by Donald Byrd, issued by Blue Note Records (BST 84048, stereo) soon after it was acquired by Liberty Records. The musicians include Jacki McLean, Hank Mobley, Duke Pearson, Doug Watkins, Reginald Workman and Lex Humphries.
The vinyl plays strong but there are several marks and I heard light background noise at one (but only one) of the several spots I sampled, so let's call it a conservative VG. The cover is VG+ with light scuffing, ring and edge wear, small bend to the top right corner. Comes with a Blue Note inner sleeve in VG condition with seam split at right center.
