Description
DONALD BYRD - BYRD IN HAND, Blue Note 4019, deep groove pressing, 47 West 63rd on jacket and labels, RVG & "ear" symbol in runoff grooves.
Condition of record is VG++, no scuffs, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean & quiet. Jacket shows slight wear, 1/4 inch seam splits right at right corners. Name of original owner written in ballpoint on back 2 inches long.
This classic recording fromn 1959 features Donald Byrd (trumpet), Charlie Rouse (tenor sax), Pepper Adams (baritone sax), Walter Davis Jr (piano), Sam Jones (bass), Art Taylor (drums). The tunes are Witchcraft, Here Am I, Devil Whip, Bronze Dance, Clarion Calls, The Injuns.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed.
VG = Very good to excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
G = Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
