Excellent         Record shows some signs of being played, but very little lessening of sound quality. Cover may show slight wear and /or creasing.

Very good       Record has obviously been played many times, but shows no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratch. Normal

Good   Record has been played so many times sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some distortion and mild scratches. Cover has folding scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.

You are bidding on a copy of Donald Byrd's 'Byrd's Eye View ' on Esquire Records a live album recorded in Boston in 1955.In the USA it was issued on Bluenote so the recording quality is first class. The album is in virtually mint condition. It does not look as if it has been played. The cover is also in fantastic condition though it has two small staples for some reason on the back. I have not removed them but when removed there will only be extremely small and unoticeable pin holes. The album comes in its original tissue inner sleeve. It features Donald Byrd and Joe Gordon on trumpets, Hank Mobley on tenor sax, Horace Silver on piano, Doug watkins on bass, Art Blakey on drums.

The track listing is

A) Doug's blues, El sino

B) Everything happens to me, Hank's tune, Hank's other tune

This is a great opportunity for serious jazz collectors to possess a rare and historic album on a great English label. Very low start price.
