Description
This is Blue Note Records BST 84118, Donald Byrd Free Form, a blue and white New York USA label original stereo issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax (there is no ear - p stamp on this issue). The record looks to be in VG condition showing scratches on both sides, but it plays better than that with only occasional background crackle audible below the music, hence the extra (+). The record plays with no skips or distortion. The cover, with the 43 West 61st St. New York 23 address, has stains, some age discoloration and light water damage but is intact. The labels show spindle marks. An original thumbnail inner sleeve is included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is a very nice initial "play" grade copy of this classic original Blue Note. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
