Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “Fuego” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4026.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once; light inaudible storage splotching.  The laminated New York 23 cover is in virtually new condition – immaculate in every respect – with sharp corners and perfect seams; store sticker and two tiny staple holes at the lower left corner of the back slick.  Personnel include Jackie McLean, Duke Pearson, Doug Watkins, and Lex Humphries.  $400.00.
