Description
We know the mark that Jim Morrison & the Doors left on Rock & Roll music during the few short years before his life was tragically cut short. In this auction is a Japanese pressing (you know it’s high quality!) of a GREAT Doors’ LP.
In this auction:
· “L.A. WOMAN” by The Doors
· This is Elektra Records P-10503E.
· This LP is a JAPANESE PRESSING.
· This LP was issued in 1978.
· The cover is patterned after the original U.S. cover with rounded corners, but this pressing does not have the die-cut window for cellophane with image of the band behind it on the yellow inner sleeve.
· What an excellent LP this is containing 10 cuts and among them “L.A. Woman” (of course), “Love Her Madly” and “Riders on the Storm”! Judge the excellence of the band by the hits it has on just one LP!!!
· The COVER is GRADED NEAR MINT. It comes with its original OBI Strip, too.
· The VINYL is also GRADED BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT!
· This LP also contains its ORIGINAL 4-PAGE PAPER INSERT.
· My experience has shown me that Japanese pressings rival audiophile pressings in terms of the quality of the sound.
· It’s a GREAT LP in BEAUTIFUL CONDITION to add to your vinyl collection!
FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the record in this auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other items you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping on auction items that finish on the same day. Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to an address in the U.S. via USPS media mail with tracking.
