Doors, L.A. Woman, Orig UK Elektra EKS-75011 PVC Sleeve LP+Inner, EX/EX, 1st Pr!
Description
The Doors 'L.A. Woman'.
Original UK Elektra Butterfly label stereo press LP.
The last lp by The Doors recorded just before Jim Morrison left for Paris and his later death. With the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices, A-18 A-17 stampers and EKS-75011/K.42090 sleeve credits, with the 'Doors Music' label credits! The Shorepak matt PVC window sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/corner wear & a couple of small scuffs on the front cover and a name and address faintly on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the yellow inner is in EX condition, it has a couple of biro dates and has been carefully repaired. The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of very faint spindle markings. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves and still a really great, loud and punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; K-42090, A-1 stamper A-18, B-1 stamper A-17. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1971 UK stereo issue of this album!
