Beautiful condition and SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!!! MONO (EKL 4014)!
I am selling off my entire rock and roll record collection that I have been collecting for over 30 years. Up for bid is a very nice copy of The Doors Strange Days. I just took the entire record for a spin tonight and the MONO MIX SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!! Don't let the conservative visual grading of the vinyl fool you. It sounds great. Yes there are surface scratches and scuffs and some pops and tics but this album sounds fabulous! This thing kicked my a** tonight! And sounds totally different than the super common stereo mix. The deadwax is engraved with the EKL prefix for mono. The Doors vinyl releases are highly regarded as having absolutely perfect treble balance. You have to hear it to believe it!
Graded Cover/Record
The cover is in true VG condition. It's really not that bad with a bit heavier ring wear on the back. The spine and all the seams are fine with no wear. No rips, tears, gouges, holes, water marks, stains or bends or cracks. But really, who really cares. It's the music that counts right? The vinyl is graded a solid mid grade VG+ visually and plays VG+. The tan labels are nice and clean with no spindle marks on Side 1 and 1 spindle mark on Side 2. The vinyl has numerous very light scratches, hairlines, and scuffs but it looks super clean with no soiling, dust or mildew. I've played the record and it sounds fantastic! I am very picky when it comes to grading and grade to Goldmine standards. I absolutely hate it when dealers ameliorate the condition of the vinyl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially when I am the buyer!!
