Orig Orange Label Elektra EKS 75005 UK LP+Inner, VG+/VG+, 1st Press!!
Original UK orange label big 'E' Elektra stereo press LP. The unlaminated E.J. Day & Co Ltd sleeve is intact & in VG+ to EX condition, with some light storage wear on the outer cover & some light edge rubbing. The spine is intact and fully readable, the lyric inner is intact & in VG+ condition, but it is discoloured with age. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with quite a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and some small needle marks visible under bright light on both sides. The labels are in VG+ condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings. The sound reproduction is VG+, still clear & precise throughout with no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise during the run in grooves and between some tracks, but overall it plays much better than it looks and is still a really great listen and a very good playing copy! The matrix nos. are; EKS-75005, A-1 mother stamper A-2, B-1 mother stamper A-7, This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this rare album!! All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, but everyones ears and decks are different, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
