Doors, Waiting For The Sun, Orig UK Elektra G/fld LP, EX, A-1 Matrix, 1st press!
Doors, Waiting For The Sun, Orig UK Elektra G/fld LP, EX, A-1 B-1 Matrix, 1st press!!!
Original orange Elektra issue stereo LP, the unlaminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition, with some light rubbing around the corners & edges, with a small area of storage wear on the outer cover (see pics). The spine is intact and fully readable. The plain inner is intact & in excellent condition.
The record is in visually very good+ condition with some evidence of being played, including a few light sleeve removal marks & a couple of light needle marks visible under bright light that do not affect the playback. The labels are clean and bright with evidence of a few spindle markings (see pics), overall the record still retains its original sheen and looks good.
The sound reproduction is still excellent throughout with no loud pops, crackle or hiss & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise on the run ins and between a couple of tracks. The matrix nos. are EKS-74024, A-1 mother stampers B-3, B-1 mother stampers C-2, one of the earliest pressings of the original UK stereo issue of this album. Happy bidding and Good Luck !!!
