Check out my other auctions this week for a whole bunch of R&B, Doowop, Rockabilly, and surf 45s! Here is a seriously rare Doowop 45 out of Oakland California. It’s by Bob Jeffries and the Marcels 123. It is not known if this 45 has anything to do with the Marcels of “Blue Moon” fame, but a listen to the 45 makes me think this is a completely different group. The songs are “Take Me Back” and “Betty Lou”. It’s on the Jody label, number 1048. The vinyl grades VG, decent shape, light wear with some gloss present.
