Double-O 7" EP - Rare D.C. Hardcore Mint TEST PRESSING
DESCRIPTION: MINT condition Test Pressing of 5-song 7" EP by Double-O ( Double O ). R&B Records #1, Dischord Records # 10 1/2, Washington, DC, 1983. (R&B stood for Rich & Bert).  There were probably 50 of these test pressings made, so it is quite rare.  White paper sleeve has two interlocking Os ( the symbol for Double-O) drawn by me in 1983.  Label is standard test pressing label, in white, with nothing written on it.  HISTORY: Double-O was a hardcore band during the early years of the Washington, DC punk scene. They consisted of Eric Lagdameo ( who also sang for Red C and Dove ), Jason Carmer (who later played guitar in 9353 ), Bert Queiroz ( who also played bass in The Untouchables, Youth Brigade, Meat Men, and Manifesto ), and Richard Moore ( who also played drums in The Untouchables and Second Wind, Meatmen ). Basically, these guys were all friends with and contemporaries of The Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Scream, and part of the whole Dischord crowd. Richard Moore lived in the Dischord House early on, and was roadie for Minor Threat on its last tour, in 1983. Recorded at Inner Ear Studios by Don Zientara (of course), with photography by Cynthia Connolly. Pressed at Nashville Record Productions, just like all the early Dischord 7"s....
CONDITION / PROVENANCE:  Record and Sleeve are both in mint condition, and have been kept in a plastic sleeve away from light and dust for the last 26 years. Record has never been played.  This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1983.  It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described as "too big" and "insane" or "nothing my potential kids or grandkids will need extras of."  Please see my auction for lots of other punk/hardcore flyers and records as well as other jetsam I'll be putting up for sale......
