Description
This is an original copy of the extremely rare and seminal Doves 'Lost Souls' double vinyl LP (HVNLP26) which was issued on the Heavenly Records label in 2000 (see photos).
Record - the vinyl is in near mint condition with very few signs of having been played. It is from my own collection and still retains its original vibrant sheen and plays powerfully on the louder numbers. There are no crackles, pops or hiss aside from slight pops at the end of 'The Man who Told Everything' on side C.
The matrix on side A is 5253201 A-1-1 (denoting a first pressing).
The matrix on side B is 5253201 B-1-1 etc
The labels are in excellent condition (see photos) with no spindle or spider marks.
The outer gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with only slight corner wear (see photos). The inner sleeves are the standard white issue and are in excellent condition.
The record has been test played on a Project Mark 2 record player using an Ortofon stylus.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a classic and rare Doves LP in its original first pressing state.
