LABEL- Interscope/Death Row Records
Catalog Number- P50611
COVER CONDITION- [EX] Excellent
VINYL CONDITION- [EX] Excellent
Notes- Up for auction is an extremely rare original pressing of Dr Dre's "The Chronic". This pressing is extremely hard to find because it was run in the mid/late 90's when the market was bottoming out. At that point they were usually running a light 500-1000 pressings.
The sleeve comes in Excellent condition with only some very light storage wear to be seen. It some very mild edge wear with absolutely no warping or ring wear.
The records themselves are also in Excellent condition and have only been played a couple of times.
I have graded this record under a high-powered desktop lamp and have personally play tested its quality. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have about this item.
Please note that I am a private collector and seller. My entire collection has been impecably stored over the years and meticulously cared for. I am very passionate about collecting and listening to vinyl and I have battled for many years to keep it growing without resorting to selling. Unfortunately times are tough for us all and the only way I can keep my collection moving forward is by selling off a few beloved pieces out of it.
This piece of vinyl (like all of mine) has been stored in a poly-lined paper sleeve to prevent scuffing. The jackets have been stored in SEALABLE plastic sleeves to prevent any dust or contaminants from entering the sleeve and grooves.
Since I am a private collector/seller, your purchase will be handled with individual care. I have been purchasing over the internet for the better part of a decade and know all the dangers of shipping records. Your record will be heavily padded in a 13 inch vinyl mailer (The same ones the labels ship out in).
I am terribly sorry, but I will not ship these records internationally. Simply due to the fact that the time in transit puts the condition of the record in jeopardy. If your are an international buyer and are serious about purchasing this or any of my other records, please contact me and maybe we can work out insurance costs and whatnot.
If you have any other questions about this, or any of my other auctions please feel free to contact me. I am only one person, but will be checking my auctions as often as possible. I will do my best to provide you with any and all information I can.
Thank you for your time.
Brand New (NEW) Sealed at factory and never opened. Disc is assumed to be undamaged and mint, but this cannot be proven until the album is actually opened and the disc examined. Near Mint (NM) The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.
Excellent (EX) Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor scuffs that do not impact the sound quality. There may be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.
Very Good + (VG+) Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.
Very Good (VG) Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.
Good (G) Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties). The record will still play through without any skips. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.
Fair or Poor - There will be major noise, surface damage, deep scratches, and skips. Attempting to listen to these discs will be painful. These discs are basically trash unless a collector desires one to fill a space in a collection until a better one comes along. We don’t usually sell record in this condition.
