Description
Drivin n Cyin Scarred but Smarter Gold Promo LP Original NM 1986 Pressing
Island Records 90971-1 as pictured.
High Quality Audiophile DMM German Analog Mastering Chain. ( Don't believe me? Ask Neil Young)
Gift quality collectable getting harder and harder to find in any condition due to Kevyn and Tim's musical brilliance through the many years.
This is a true final copy archival LP in my humble opinion.
- LP: Visually-not a spot on the record or labels, As expected nice vintage luster.
- Sonically: Personally Playgraded, lays nice and flat plays perfectly-a masterpiece.
- Jacket visually VG++ or E+ with gold stamp promo on back and DMM hype label on front. Only the promo cut keeps it from NM-so definitely high end of the grade.
Sawcut on the spine-which I usually hate, but this one was very neatly placed with a hint of degradation around the original area. The rest of the jacket is solid, colorful, and clean. The spine is beautiful Black printed and centered like it should be with the text nicely legible.
This Jacket graded per quoted Goldmine Standards:
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E)
A good description of a VG+ record is except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint. Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++ or E+).
This LP graded per quoted Goldmine Standards:NEAR MINT (NM OR M-)
A good description of a NM record is it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. In other words, its nearly perfect. Many dealers won't use a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record or sleeve is ever truly perfect.
Includes original uncut white plain sleeve. LP housed in a poly lined anti-static. Jacket housed in a quality clear outer sleeve.
Professionally shipped correctly as it should be in the best packaging: Bags Unlimited Mighty Music Mailer-not a pizza box or some other amateur stunt.
No smell, no warp, no disappointments on this one.
There is a reason I have 100% feedback, you can trust me. No Returns but if something off the wall occurs please contact me and I will work to make it right.
From my personal collection, I am a long time collector thinning the herd-not a retailer.
