Duke Ellington & John Coltrane LP, Impulse AS-30, Sterio, Jazz, 1962/63

 This auction is for a vintage jazz LP (vinyl) "Duke Ellington & John Coltrane", Impulse AS-30, Sterio.  This LP was recorded 9/26/62 and released (I believe) in 1963.  Van Gelder stamp appears in run off wax on both sides.  The album also features Elvin Jones, Aaron Bell, Jimmy Garrison, and Sam Woodward.  The laminated gatefold cover is in Near Mint condition (slight evidence of wear at bottom of spine).  Original ABC Paramount inner sleeve (some creasing at lower and upper left hand corners).  The orange and black labels on both sides are perfect.  The vinyl is visually graded as EX to NM.  Play-tested on both sides.  Plays extremely well (no popping/crackling that I hear).  See pics for play list and to help judge condition for yourself.  (Please excuse the reflection of the photographer on the vinyl and lp cover pics.
