Description

Original Jazz vinyl LP released in 1963 on His Master’s Voice Records (CLP 1657).

Recorded at Van Gelder Studios, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on 26th September 1962.

This is a really rare LP which hardly ever comes up for sale, especially in this condition. It will be well packaged and sent via insured mail.

The LP is in very good condition, it plays well and has no significant scratches.

The inner sleeve has some creases, but is in good condition overall and is the original one.

Also in the LP is an advertising flyer, which came with the record in 1963.

The outer sleeve is also very good, with just a few minor marks commensurate with its age.

The previous owner was a huge Duke Ellington fan and really looked after his records.

A rare album and one for the collector’s and Jazz lovers.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:

99% of the people I’ve dealt with on eBay over the last 20 years have been really nice, honest, sensible and realistic people.

Sadly, 1% don’t tick all, or even any, of those boxes.

The things I sell, particularly records, are all second hand.   They have been used, and looked after to a greater or lesser extent depending on who had them before me.

I will try to describe all items accurately.    If there are faults or damage that I’m aware of I’ll mention it in the listing and also try and photograph it.    I’ll always use photos of the actual item you are bidding on, not ‘library images’ plucked from Google.

I will combine postage - generally speaking you can get up to 4 LP’s (or 2 double albums) or 4 singles in one of the cardboard record mailers I use.

I use Royal Mail as they are, in my experience, the most reliable.   I’ve seen how Courier companies handle parcels and it isn’t pretty, so I generally stay away from using them.

For that reason I post only to the UK, or overseas only via eBay’s International Postage Scheme.

I always leave feedback and I’d appreciate it if you took the time to do so as well.   It’s how eBay works and we can see who is reliable and who isn’t!    I’ve got 100% positive feedback over 20 years and want to keep it that way.   In the extremely unlikely event of a problem with an item please contact me first and I will resolve the issue for you.

Thanks, kerrywh2001.
