Duster Bennet - Bright Lights
Blue Horizon label, Catalogue Number S 7-63221
A rare album from 1969, it was recorded live at the Angel Hotel in Godalming, Surrey, England. Both record & sleeve are in Very Good condition. The 'A' side of the vinyl looks excellent, with just one small, superficial 'spot' at the star of track 2. If held in the light, it is possible to see the lightest of lines from handling. The 'B' side has rather more of these lines, but there are only one or two small, and only light scratches. The labels are clean and intact, although there are a lot of spindle marks, showing that this record has been a popular choice from the record shelf. The sound quality is generally Very Good to Excellent, although there is some crackle at the start of side one, and a few clicks on tracks 1 & 3. There is a light click for the first 30 seconds or so of side two, then just the occasional click or crackle. The gatefold sleeve is clean, but has some creasing, in particular, one crease runs almost vertically down the right hand side of the front cover. The inner cover has in particular one vertical crease running down about halfway. The rear has some slight rippling and light creasing. This is nonetheless, a very presentable copy of a rare album.
