The Dynamics – ‘Woman’ / ‘Because I Love You’ – Brainstorm 122 (US)
Absolutely wonderful Chicago two-sider on Leo Austell’s Brainstorm label, the home of marvellous records by Cicero Blake, Roy Hytower, Lou Bond and others. Not the Detroit group this time, but it fact the Sheppards in disguise. Two great tunes, but ‘Woman’ surely has the edge! Disc is in wonderful shape; if you need one of these, I dare say you will be hard put to locate a finer copy!
Condition: Excellent; essentially as good as these sturdy independent pressings get (please listen to the clips). Clean labels with ever so slight flaking round the centre hole on the topside (please see scans).
