A very rare original uk thick vinyl mono deram first pressing, this album is extremely rare and hard to find in mono. 'Mercator Projected' is the bands 1968 debut album, it is one of best albums to ever be released on the deram label. This is a very nice clean mono copy that plays and sounds excellent with minimal surface noise.

THICK MONO VINYL = EX

The thick mono vinyl is in excellent condition, both sides are still nice and clean with a great sheen, there are just a few very light wispy top surface marks and a few very fine hairlines. There are also just a couple of very small narrow areas of slightly lighter looking grooves, these do not look bad and they do nothing at all to affect the sound quality. This album plays and sounds excellent throughout, there is only some very occasional behind the music light background crackle and just the odd sporadic light tic, this really is very minor and is in no way off-putting as this album plays and sounds really great. There are no nasty marks that cause continuous clicks and pops, this is a very nice clean mono copy. The vinyl does have a very slight edge warp, this is not serious at all and the stylus only moves up and down just slightly, this minor warp does nothing at all to affect play. This is a excellent very rare original uk mono issue that plays and sounds superb with no nasty surprises.

MONO DERAM LABELS = EX

Both tan and white mono labels are in excellent clean condition, there are just a few light spindle traces on each side due to careful play. The label of side one has a very tiny area that is slightly textured, this is where 'EAST OF EDEN' is printed under the track-listing, the ink has not printed boldly here, this can be seen in the pictures of the labels, this is a very minor flaw. These labels still look great with no bad faults at all.

FRONT LAMINATED COVER = EX

The front laminated single sleeve was made and printed in the uk by Moore & Matthes LTD. This cover is in excellent condition with no bad faults. The top edge has a few very small areas of wear, the bottom edge is excellent and has none at all. The spine is also excellent with no wear at all and all text very clear and easy to read. The opening edge has some light feathering and has a very slight wavy affect but is still great. The front lamination is still very reflective with just the lightest of wear, there is some extremely small narrow areas of lamination blistering right near the spine. The back cover is still nice and clean with just minimal wear and marking. This cover has no major faults and so still grades excellent.

POLY-LINED MONO INNER = VERG GOOD+ 

The original red/white mono poly-lined inner is in very good+ condition with nothing more than some minor consistent age discolouring. There are no splits, marks or bad creasing.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
