ONLY 1000 COPIES MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first Punk Recording from Baltimore, Maryland!
Cover is in Good condition, no rips or tears, but some creasing as it is soft paper. Vinyl is in good condition with one small scratch on side 1. The scratch on side 1 is very light and does not appear to affect the overall playback beyond a few stray pops as I am listening to the mp3's which I ripped from the vinyl. As far as other surface noise, the intro (typical of vinyl) to side 2 has some surface noise which lasts until the :11 second mark when the song "Weekend Nazi" kicks into gear.
Songs from this EP have appeared on Killed By Death #3, #12 and #18.
Ebenezer and the Bludgeons, one of the first punk bands to come out of the Baltimore scene along with Da Moronics, formed in 1977 as Ebenezer and the Scrooges, but changed the name before their first gig. They were a staple at the Marble Bar (the CBGB's of Baltimore) which showcased similar acts. The band had a number of personnel changes but original members Davison and Arscott were the constant members. Reportedly the band would throw raw octopi into the audience during performances. In 1978, they released 1,000 copies of a 4 song E.P. entitled Peer Pressure.
