Description
JAN GARBAREK BOBO STENSON Witchi-Tai-To, ECM 1041, German test pressing, stereo,1974; no jacket. Vinyl is vg to vg+. There are a number of light scratches and marks, some of which are lightly feelable with a fingernail. These only minimally impair listening enjoyment for the most part. The label has no writing on the B side. Will ship with plain white jacket. German original ECM pressings are superior to US issues in terms of sonic fidelity.
With Garbarek and Stenson are Palle Daniellson and John Christensen. A modern jazz masterpiece. When's the last time you saw an ECM test pressing (musterpressung)?
See my other ECM listings, including other original German pressings, test pressings, white label promos, and a few USA issues. I'm also selling other avant garde records on such labels as Impulse, Soul Note, Black Saint, etc. Look for future listings.
I will happily combine winning bids within 7 days of auction close. I ship in sturdy cardboard mailers designed for LPs, taking the vinyl from the jacket to prevent seam splits in transit.
Grading: My highest grade is m- (mint minus). From there I follow the Goldmine rating system always listing flaws, although I use vg++ as a grade in between m- and vg+. My grading is guaranteed. Should any issues arise, please contact me.
