EDDIE GALE "BLACK RHYTHM HAPPENING" LP - On Blue Note Records, #BST-84320. Original U.S. stereo pressing with the classic Blue & White (Liberty) labels. VAN GELDER stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Great spiritual soul laced masterpiece and one of the most difficult albums to find in the entire 60's Blue Note archives. The personnel: Eddie Gale/trumpet; Russell Lyle/tenor sax & flute; Judah Samuel/bass; Henry Pearson/bass; Roland Alexander/soprano sax & flute; James Lyons/alto sax; Elvin Jones/drums; John Robinson/African drums; and others. The vinyl is in phenomenal MINT condition (beautiful gloss). Appears unplayed!! Labels are pristine. The thick glossy cover is in superb shape: bright and clean with tight seams, displays wonderfully. Small upper left corner cut. The songs are: Black Rhythm Happening; The Gleeker; Son Of Will; Ghetto Love Night; Mexico Thing; Ghetto Summertime; It Must Be You; Look At Teyonda.***Includes the original Liberty Records inner sleeve!***
