Description
ITEM: EDDIE HEYWOOD - " Now "
NOTE: SOME FANTASTIC WORK BY "Earl Williams" ON DRUMS & Jamil Nasser - Bass
.......Eddie Heywood (one of Billy Holiday's favorite pianist ) presents here some later sounds with a fantastic trio.
To be noted in my opinion: Any session with Jamil Nasser is special.
..........Heywood thinks melodically, even using often rather complex rhythmic underpinnings for compositional effect.........
