Description

EDDIE LOCKE SEXTET -- AFS & All That Global Jazz -- hard to find, original 1978 U.S., autographed on back cover.  Rare Private Press Modern Jazz LP by much-admired percussionist Locke with Roy Eldridge on trumpet, Budd Johnson on Tenor Sax and others; this was recorded live at St. Peter's Church in New York City in 1978 to benefit the AFS student volunteer organization.  The album was signed on the back in 1981 by Locke along with well-known jazz musicians Jimmy Ryan and Bobby Pratt (who were playing with him at the time).  See photo for track list.  Cover:  VG+, light ring wear and wear at corners, light wear along opening edge.  Record:  VG+/VG++, light surface wear from storage in sleeve, overall very clean, on AFS private label, U.S. press.
