Description

Here's one of those 'test issues' from Chess who obviously tried out artists in the hope of hitting it big and then giving up when nothing much happened. Chicago, 1951. 'Lime beans' was a minor hit I believe as it has a catchy riff. However the side to treasure is 'Wandering lover' which features some effective, very active and busy Little Walter guitar work -something rarely heard once he hit it big as a harp genius. Nice vocal too from Ware. Top notch.
