Description
This is a true first pressing first album by Edip Akbayram. Features a treasure trove of some of the most exciting Turkish heavy folk psych! Cover is EX. No writings, no tears, no seam splits. Edges are especially in fantastically healthy shape, not worn! Disc is trickier to grade: I don't know how to put this: I stumble upon this "humid" visual look on vinyls from time to time on Turkish and Indian records. I guess it has got to do with the original packing: some releases were offered for sale with plastic inner bags. If these become attached with the disc at a humid environment for a long time, these strange marks happen on vinyl, that is: the vinyl gets in a reaction with the plastic (nylon) bag. Usually these do not affect sound but I have seen many collectors complain about the "condition" for records which were absolutely mint, even on some records which I was 100% sure that never saw any needle in its life! Therefore, visually, the disc has very few thin hairlines which do not affect the sound. Other than that, there are these faint humidity lines which puts me hard to give a universal grading. But if you only care how the disc sounds and care if the disc is healthy or not, please listen to the clip below taken from this copy! I don't remember when was the last time I heard such a fantastic sounding copy of this album. Must be years ago. Heavy-thick original vinyl must be responsible for this great playback!
