Description

A collection of TWENTY FOUR early 8" shellac records on the Edison Bell record label, all dating to the late 1920s and early 1930s and playing at 78 rpm.  They encompass various genres including music hall, military, colliery band, choral,  orchestral etc.  Many come complete with period sleeves, others are contained within a folio/album of the same vintage.  The complete collection is priced low since as I have so many records (indeed, thousands!) of these old records needing a new home.  Artists include G H Elliott (numerous), Harry Hudson's Melody Men, HM Scots Guards, Radio Rhythm Boys, Billy Elliott, Alfredo and His Band, Black Dyke Mills Band, Stanley Kirkby & Orchestra, Lesley Sarony etc.  Most are in extremely good condition.
Shipping price includes a strong double wall box, multiple layers of bubblewrap and polystyrene loose fill - the best way of packaging these potentially delicate shellac records. Overseas buyers please be aware that most international sales (including those to mainland Europe) now attract import charges. Please be assured that enormous attention will be paid to the safe packaging of this item.
