The second British pressing of Egg’s debut LP, following legal wrangles which prompted the removal of ‘Movement 3’ from ‘Symphony No.2’ (Stravinsky was still alive at the time, and they apparently did not clear the use of his composition for that movement). The sleeve text has been altered to state ‘Movement 3 has had to be omitted from this record due to copyright difficulties’.

COVER – carefully graded strong VG – No major damage, apart from streaking and scratching to the laminate on front cover (superficial marks only viewable under bright light), and some creases along the edges. Light disc imprint and discoloration to back cover; appears much better than the description allows. Perfect seams and spine. Printed by Moore & Matthes Ltd.

VINYL –

1. Visual – NM – light wear from sleeve removal; vinyl looks as-new.
2. Playback – NM – plays brilliantly, as it should.

LABELS – NM. Clean and unmarked.

INNER – EX – Blue Decca poly-lined inner sleeve with no major wear. No splits, tears or handwriting.

Canada Post no longer provides a flat fee for International shipping, so costs will vary depending upon the country, but will not exceed $16.00 CAN for the price of sending one LP via Air Mail. The cost of shipping two to three LPs internationally via Air Mail ranges between $29.50 CAN to $31.00 CAN, and $13.00 CAN to $15.00 CAN for Surface Mail.

All records will be carefully packaged with the vinyl removed from outer sleeve.

SHIPPING – Items will be shipped within a week of payment receipt (depending entirely on the swiftness of PayPal withdrawals). I will always contact the winning buyer once the album has been mailed.

GRADING – All records will be carefully play-graded, from start to finish. As a collector, I am much more concerned with acquiring and auctioning records which sound great and play without major problems; I am always careful to make note of any cosmetic or sonic defaults, as honestly as possible, since I, too, know the feeling of receiving a trashed record when expecting a mint article. In most cases, you should receive a record that is slightly better than described; I am fussy about the playing condition of my own records, so I will always try to provide eBayers with satisfying, quality pressings of great titles.
