Outstanding, experimental lounge by the maestro. Extremely psychedelic with beautiful / avantgarde and spooky cinematic atmospheres. For us, the most elusive of all Gemelli Library titles with sleeve artwork to die for :) Macchi's expressionist score is basically a musical interpretation of how the progressive technological advances of our world affects the human psyche and man's capacity to process certain situations. Our soundclip opens with the killer mechanical funk of STRESSING featuring syncopated beats and aggressive fuzz bass distortions and also includes the art house / filmic strings / underwater ambience and freaky voice 'field recordings' spliced into the CELLE theme. Mood music recorded for an unknown Italian soundtrack / television or radio programme. Should appeal to lovers of the Andy Votel / Sean Canty Demdike Stare sound too. Spatial / sophisticated themes with flashes of electronics / woodwind / piano / organ / harpsichord / deconstructed strings / other-wordly percussion sounds and odd time signatures. Stunning Futurismo artwork sleeve with visonary hip hop-esque imagery. Very rare Library OST Lp!!! Vinyl is closer to shiny, M- condition overall with some hairlines. Light surface noises. Some soft pops in places. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of our soundclip. The laminated thick card sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with light wear to back sleeve... Dirt spots / a little ring wear and ring dirt marks from storage. One light ding to top left spine side corner. Tiny bit of wear to bottom right corner at open side. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
