THE ELASTIC BAND Expansions on Life LP U.K DECCA Nova 1969 SDN6
Original U.K vinyl issue on Nova a subsidiary of Decca, still remains unissued . Originally known as The Silverstone Set the band gigged around the Midlands and North Wales. They also appeared on Opportunity Knocks and apparently won….5 times. This helped then secure a deal with Decca. The LP is quite an original release with a blue eyed soul vocals mixed with psychedelia, leaning to heavier progressive moments, great flute , amazing pumped out organ, heavy and melodic guitar, driving bass and thumping drums. This is an original copy in near mint condition.
