Description

Rare early 1970s Electrecord triple 10" LP set, including three of their classic recordings previously issued separately:


1. ECD-23 George Enescu - Rapsodiile Române or Rapsodia Romana nos. 1 & 2, originally released in 1957. 1901-1902 classical compositions conducted by Gerorge Georgescu.

2. EPD-1063 Violinist Grigora? Dinicu Recital, originally released in 1963 but reissued here with more music. Gorgeous Romani-gypsy violin folk music.

3. EPD-1139, originally released in 1961 as EPD-1033 - Victor Predescu conducts an orchestral concert of Romanian popular music with the Orchestra Ciocîrlia and the Orchestra Radioteleviziunii, featuring true folk instruments and not schmaltzy at all -- STEREO


All three discs are in beautiful near mint condition and sound just wonderful. As you probably know, Electrecord made lovely recordings and these are just stunning. The cover, too is near mint. A beautiful and rare copy.
