During the late 1960s, the band 'The Pretty Things' made some extra money by recording a number of songs for low-budget films, these tracks were never actually intended for official release but were later compiled on a few very limited press library albums and released under the alias of 'The Electric Banana'.

This amazing sounding full-blown heavy psych album is a mega-rare original 1969 uk mono pressed De-Wolfe label library album. The music really is brilliant uk heavy psych at it's very best, loads of amazing seering acid/fuzz lead guitar, pounding drums, excellent tight harmonies and superb moody lead vocals, the tracks are every bit as good, if not better than the material on the bands excellent 1968 psych concept album 'S.F. Sorrow'. This musically superb mega-rare mono heavy psych album is incredibly still in pristine as new condition and plays and sounds MINT from beginning to end, there is not even a trace of crackle or any other surface noise and the sound quality could not be better. This original 1969 mono library album very rarely gets offered for sale and is near impossible to find in such amazing  pristine condition as this.

THICK MONO VINYL = MINT

The original thick pressed mono vinyl still looks brand new with that superb glossy just pressed look, there is not even a light scuff visible and all tracks really do play and sound amazing from start to finish with no surface noise at all. The sound quality is perfect and very clean and clear throughout, this is a flawless looking/playing copy that has only ever had just two or three very careful plays on a decent turntable and will definitely never need upgrading..GUARANTEED!!

PARTLY TEXTURED LABELS = MINT

Both partly textured De-Wolfe labels are mint with no marks or blemishes.

SINGLE MATT CARD SLEEVE = MINT

The single card sleeve is also in mint condition with no defects at all, the edges and spine are perfect and are nice and straight with no wear at all. This sleeve is non-laminated and is almost pure white so to find this 40 year old matt card sleeve in such amazing clean condition as this today is a minor miracle, there is no blotching, staining or any bad marks at all, this cover is just about perfect and like the vinyl it has no flaws at all and could not be bettered.

There really cannot be too many copies of the mega-rare mono psych album surviving in this condition today, it's a real stunner and will definitely not disappoint in any way whatsoever. If you are into top-notch heavy psych and you have never heard any of the late 1960s 'Electric Banana' albums then you really are missing out on some of the best uk psych music of that time.

I pack my records very well indeed, the album will be removed from the card cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
