Elephants Memory - Power Boogie / Liberation Special. Apple 45.

Elephants Memory 1972 UK DEMO pressing of the double A side 'Power Boogie / Liberation Special' 7" single. Released on the 1st December 1972, and offered here in SIMPLY STUNNING MINT- condition. The vinyl and labels look so amazing this is probably UNPLAYED.

These initial pre-release demo pressings would have usually been given out to important reviewers or radio stations. Released on the Apple label both sides state DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE. The vinyl is housed within the original and correct matt 'Apple Records' sleeve.

'Elephants Memory' accompanied John Lennon and Yoko Ono as part of the 'Plastic Ono Band' on their albums 'Sometime in New York City', 'Approximately Infinite Universe' and 'Live in New York City'. John and Yoko also produced this single and the Apple self titled album from which it was taken 'Elephants Memory'. If memory serves me correct John and Yoko also play on this single and the single/LP.

This single failed to chart in the UK making any issue hard to find. With the demo version even more desirable and offered in STUNNING MINT- condition.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. APPLE 45 A-1U 1 G KT

Side 2. APPLE 45 B-1U 1 G KT

The vinyl is in MINT- condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. Small sticker to the front (easily removable).
