Elephants Memory - Liberation Special / Power Boogie. UK Demo Press. Apple 45.
Elephants Memory 1972 UK DEMO pressing of the double A side 'Liberation Special / Power Boogie' 7" single. Released on the 1st December 1972, this also comes complete with the original 'Apple Records' sleeve. These initial early 1st pressings would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date. This single failed to chart in the UK making copies very hard to come by.
The vinyl labels state 'DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE' along with the release date of '1.12.72' printed to both sides.
'Elephants Memory' accompanied John Lennon and Yoko Ono as part of the 'Plastic Ono Band' on their albums 'Sometime in New York City', 'Approximately Infinite Universe' and 'Live in New York City'. John and Yoko also produced this single and the Apple self titled album from which it was taken 'Elephants Memory'. If memory serves me correct John and Yoko also play on this single and the LP.

Side 1. APPLE 45 A-1U KT 1C
Side 2. APPLE 45 B-1U ZT 1C
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT++/MINT- condition.
The original 'Apple Records' sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
