Elephant's Memory from New York, USA, was early known as a politically active street band around the Greenwich Village area.
1972 they teamed up with John Lennon and Yoko Ono and recorded their second album, to be released on Apple!
The LP was produced by John and Yoko, and THIS was the single they released from that album.
Including two great tracks, and a cool touch on Power Boogie is that the line "Dance with your sister" is sung by Yoko,
" Dance with your brother" is sung by Lennon, and "Dance on the law" by David Peel !
It's also said that Lennon plays some guitar on these tracks!
However, B-Side Liberation Special is a personal favourite, with heavy guitar riffs, pumping bass, screaming vocals,
well, it simply has a HARD and HEAVY flow to it, great production too! Check it out on Youtube if you don´t know it.
Anyways, this Swedish Apple 45 is extremely scarce and hardly ever turns up for sale,
this is a very nice copy too so it will be a great add to your Apple collection, don't miss out!
