Elf was an American rock band founded in 1967 by singer and bassist Ronnie James Dio, keyboardist Doug Thaler, drummer Gary Driscoll, and guitarists Nick Pantas, and David Feinstein. The band was originally called The Electric Elves, but was shortened to The Elves in 1968 and finally Elf in 1972. Elf disbanded in 1975 after recording three albums and after most of the lineup had been absorbed into Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
*Vinyl tested! Awesome LP! This copy may have been for a radio station because of the label on the back of the jacket (see photos). Besides this label, I haven't found any special promotional information for it. Everything appears to be the same as the like issue copies without it. It definitely adds charm to an already nice piece of memorabilia. Jacket shows misc wear including beginning of split on top and bottom seams. This LP cover has extremely thick cardboard that should hold up to time with proper storage and handling care. Inner sleeve is thick paper with clear plastic lining. I will include a NEW poly outer sleeve to help protect it from any further wear. A must have for your hard rock and Ronnie James Dio collection! Please see photos.
Open records are wrapped separately from their sleeves and jackets to ensure the safest delivery
I charge a $2.00 fee for handling which pays for shipping supplies
