The world of the Recorded Violin and the 127th birthday of Georges Enesco..  
 
In August 2006, I paid tribute to the 125th Anniversary of Georges Enesco with a showcase of historic programs and recordings.
 
In 2008, I offer a range of historic violin recordings and ephemera with Enesco student, friend and associate, Yehudi Menuhin as a centerpiece.

Offered is a Menuhin piece de resistance... the famous,legendary premiere recording of The Elgar Concerto with Elgar conducting.

Rarely encountered, this set is also SIGNED by Louis Rapetti to a friend.

This exceptional set is in a very nice E to near E+ condition, with one side having a tiny rim edge flake[not affecting play]

This famous recording has been transferred to cd:yet this is the original sound mix preferred by many.

Honoring Enesco through the lense of his greatest peer and student, Yehudi Menuhin
