Incredibly rare 12" - LIMITED TO JUST 200 COPIES WORLDWIDE!!

The Cocteau Twins were an anomaly. A post-punk act who produced music that entranced: a crazed, psychedelic, immersive space sculpted with drum machines, pulsing bass, processed guitars [often to the point of being unrecognizable], and a truly unique, unmistakeable voice - that of Liz Fraser.
If you're very lucky, you may have come across an MP3 version of 'Underwater' by Liz Fraser, originally available as a white label 12", limited to just 200 copies, released July 2000. This urgent, minimal Trance-track is a clear departure from the Twin's signature ethereal guitars and pumping drums, and yet the flavour is still the same: that sense of urgency, that delicious mix of panic and joy [both states lead to bliss]. Now it's just swirling synths, without the guitars. And the voice is unmistakably Fraser's: lilting, fragile, hollow.
But you, dear reader are even luckier - on auction today we have one of the ACTUAL 12"s!! With its custom white labels with the artist name and title stamped on the A-side, this has to be a must for any Cocteau Twins collector - you won't find another one in a hurry - so don't delay, bid today!!
Condition of record: Very Good+. The vinyl is glossy and has only light marks on the playing surface, and the labels have only a couple of spindle marks. The record plays through fine, with no jumps, pops or crackles.
Condition of sleeve: Very Good +. It is a plain black die-cut sleeve, which is showing a little wear.

This auction is based in the UK. If you are buying from overseas you MUST pay by Paypal, or contact us with credit card details.
