The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) started out in 1970, in the UK. By 1971, the band began releasing albums. In 1977, they released their best selling album of their career, and titled it 'Out of the Blue'. It's sold over TEN million copies worldwide! Producer and band founder Jeff Lynne has gone on to become one of the world's best record producers, and worked with The Traveling Wilburys (of which he was also a member), Tom Petty, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, and Bryan Adams. A version of ELO, titled Jeff Lynne's ELO, released new music in 2015, and 2019.

In 2017, Epic Records, (by way of Legacy and Sony), remastered that FORTY year old ELO smash hit album! They also put it out on a special picture disc double LP set! This comes in a clear plastic PVC gatefold jacket with a sash that lists song titles and credits. Bought new, and never played! This was never sealed, but again, the vinyl has never seen a stylus or a turntable!

A really nice gift idea for that ELO fan in your life. Or for collectors of classic rock picture discs. Or fans of 70s hard rock. With vintage ELO music on a modern day picture disc set, you just can't go wrong!!
