Description

For sale is a triple disc vinyl release of Fantastic Damage by El-P (Definitive Jux, DJX27) autographed by El!!


Featuring Cage, Vast Aire, Rob Sonic, Ill Bill, C Rayz Walz, Mr. Lif, and Aesop Rock the debut album from Def Jux and Company Flow founder, El Producto, is packed with quite a punch.


Fantastic Damage is an unrelenting, end-to-end burner that not only heralds the resurrection of El-P, but also provides a milestone for post-millennial underground hip-hop. The music is carefully constructed and sonically intricate. Distorted guitars, cacophonous, high-pitched ringing, and spiraling screams comprise its musical motifs. Lyrically, El-P eschews hip-hop's straightforward style for fits of associative word clusters (a la Kool Keith, or even early Pavement) that sound like a freestyle battle between a Marxist pamphlet and a technical manual.


This amazing album was signed by El-P during his 2016 Run The Jewels tour. His signature is on the front cover in silver marker over his printed name!


 


Discs are EX with light to moderate play wear, very faint surface noise, occasional rotational pops, nothing overwhelming and barely noticeable.

Gatefold Jacket is VG+ aside from minor corner dings with some rough edge wear at opening on both sides. It's difficult to see in the pictures, but the edge has noticeable handling wear and fraying. Other than this there's not much more to mention, great condition!!

Includes original 6.25" x 6.25" Fantastic Damage sticker!!
