This record is in excellent condition. It has some faint spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres do have some mild wear to them but it is not extreme and they are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall with nothing major or sinister evident. There are a couple of minor lines and some faint sleeve scuffing showing in normal light however. These light marks and a few more signs of use show under bright light but of course nothing remotely deep or nasty. There is also a few blotchy areas or superficial mottling in places, but this is again minor. So overall this used vintage record is in good shape, has a lovely lustre(shines deep red when held to bright light) and shows only minor lines and slight signs of use.
I play tested the record and it played well and produced enjoyable audio of good quality and clarity throughout. It lays flat, there is no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is clear with very little surface noise or interference audible. There is a touch in the run in and occasionally the odd light splutter in some of the audio but there is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or loud annoying clicks/pops. Overall it was a very enjoyable play test and although not 100% crystal clear it would grade at excellent audibly and is still a nice copy.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has some mild wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There are no splits or weak areas anywhere and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks. There are only a few very minor creases, little to no ring marks showing and inside the gatefold is excellent with little to report. Overall the sleeve is a strong excellent with just the light edge rubbing in places(bottom edges) as its main 'issue. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes a brand new plain white replacement inner and all its inserts which are in excellent+ condition. The lyrics/scraps booklets are superb and show minimal signs of handling, while the poster is similar but does have creases where it has been folded to fit in the sleeve.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
