This record is in excellent condition. It has a few incredibly faint spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or staining. There is minor wear to the centre holes but these are not loose and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall with nothing serious showing. There is the odd faint 'sleeve scuff', minor surface line and a couple of very small marks to side 1(pictured) visible in normal light but these are nothing major. These are not deep but along with a few more incredibly light wispy lines are visible under very bright light. So overall a used vintage record free from anything major, that has a lovely lustre(shines 'ruby red' in direct light due to being pressed on translucent vinyl) but has a couple of small marks and light signs of use.
I play tested the record and it plays really well overall. It lays flat and there is next to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced has no serious issues and overall minimal traces of surface noise or interference audible. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and overall it was a really enjoyable play test. Side 2 plays really well with a near silent run in and solid EX+ audio throughout. Side 1 is similar but the few small marks photographed above causes some very light splutters in the first 45 seconds or so of the last track. These are not loud and I would not describe them as ticks. It is just some sporadic light spluttering for the early stages of the track. Although this can be heard when listened out for this is the only patch of audio where I noted anything and the vast majority was very clear, crisp and defined. Overall a nice sounding UK 1st press which play tested well with no serious issues and only the very minor interference in the last track of side 1 as mentioned.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has a small amount of rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but there is very little on the spine with the writing all clearly legible. The sleeve remains rock solid and there are of course no splits or weak areas anywhere. There are no tears or scuffs anywhere but there is some light fading in places. There is also a faint ring marks showing on the rear and some creasing evident near the centre or spine inside the gatefold. There is also pen marks along the top edges inside the gatefold. These are in both top corners and although they can be seen they are fairly discreet. Overall a solid and tidy sleeve which has no major issues but has some light signs of age. I have also tried my best to explain the sleeves condition, but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner which is in excellent condition. It has no splits, tears or pen marks but does some age related discolouring, light creasing and mild ring marks.
It includes all three of its original inserts. These are all in very nice condition with the scraps and lyrics booklets showing minor signs of use with just some mild creasing to the bottom edges. The poster is in great shape with no tears or major creasing(just the fold lines where it has been folded to go inside the sleeve) but has a few light age spots on the white rear.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
