Description

UNPLAYED, Limited Edition (#0389) DCC Compact Classics audiophile gem; Mastered by Steve Hoffman in September 1995 (utilizing an All Vacuum-Tube Cutting System) >> Never been on a turntable nor touched by a needle (See details below).
Check out all Eight photos to see this Unplayed, Heavy-gauge, 180+ gram Pure Virgin Vinyl analogue pressing of ELTON JOHN's Greatest Hits LP of 1974 (DCC Compact Classics #LPZ-2013 with codes etched into the runout/deadwax zones: "LPZ 2013-A-1S" / "LPZ 2013-B-1S" with "Steve Hoffman / Kevin Gray" on both sides) featuring the original classic line-up of hits PLUS "Candle In the Wind" (See Photos) >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED (See below for detailed LP description).
I bought this one a few months ago & REMOVED ITS FACTORY WRAP to inspect (and to take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. No one else has access to my collection so I am 1000% certain that it has only been handled (very briefly) by me.
I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed) and I've decided to sell them.
>> Shimmering Heavy-weight 180+ gram "Pure Virgin" vinyl is in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect).
>> BLINDINGLY glossy cover has three corner bumps (one very tiny & two larger ones); Two small crease-wrinkles around the edge; NO discoloration, NO water damage, NO cutouts nor punch holes; NO promo stamps; One seam split to the lower edge and two more trying to form at top and on the spine of differing degrees >> wear-spots at those two points as well; NO ring wear; spine print is perfectly centered but there is one spot (a little over an inch long) where the upper gloss layer is separating from the lower layers of the paperboard cover mid-way down the spine; NO Record Club.
>> Facsimile page of the original inner sleeve is mint & factory-fresh.
>> Deluxe Audiophile treatment of the 1st LP I ever bought back in the day & still my favorite (recently opened yet never played).
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> I ship in good boxes and can ship up to 4 single LPs in one box. To save you shipping $$$, it's Media Mail: $4 for 1 single LP plus 50 cents for each additional single LP up to 4 total LPs in each box. Second box would likewise ($4 for 1LP + 50 cents for each LP up to box capacity, etc...). Double LP would count as 2 single LPs. I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so please keep that in mind.
