SECOND ALBUM from this, at the time, young prodigious talent. The contents are brilliantly written and executed with Elton pushing the boundaries of contemporary singer-songwriter excellence. Backed by progressive rock band Hookfoot, the content is deliciously expansive with tracks such as 'Your Song' marking a high point in his career.
This copy features remarkably unworn cover - impossible to find as the black finish is always prone to wear and tear.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Cover: Only minimal signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed fully gate fold cover. Sharp corners (one corner edge slightly rubbed), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and totally uncrushed. Grades as top Ex+
