Super Rare "Cocktail Di Successi N.8" Lp RCA ITALY

Here for sale one of the rarest 50's release put out by RCA Italiana. As most of you already know, in the beginning this release was pressed WITHOUT photo of artists on front cover. Successively, the RCA Italiana decided to go for an other cycle of pressing of the same Lp using a completely different cover design depicting the most prominent artists whom reached the top-charts and were best-seller in Italy during the 1957/1958. This second variation is known worldwide as "Elvis / Loren" cover, and is at the same time noteworthy of higher value and appreciation. Besides, the "Elvis/Loren" cover pressing was released in much fewer quantity as the RCA Italiana regarded that more likely an experiment in order to see wether it would have met the demand or not. Only 3000 copies were pressed for this beauty, and few survive nowdays with this cover. This was a UNIQUE italian Lp released for the italian market only, no other country ever released a Various Artists Lp with such a colorful and nice cover during the 50's. Tracks include Elvis singing "Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do !" from the Paramount - Loving You , Sophia Loren singing "S'Agapo" from the 20th Century Fox - Boy On Dolphin, Marilyn Monroe singing "After You Get What You Want" and many others... A really great chance for any serious vinyl record collector to set in this beauty in his collection and specially for who loves the rare and beautiful pressing from Italy. No reserve and low starting bid at 1/2 of real value !

Additional info for Elvis collectors: this was either the LAST italian Elvis -VV.AA. Long Play put out by RCA Italiana during the 50's and the rarest than all the previous three italian Elvis -VV.AA. Lp's which were pressed 1 year before this one. Don't let it pass by as it's getting almost impossible to find any Elvis italian 50's vinyl release for so convenient prices as in this case.

  First pressing from July 1958, black label, MEGA-RARE "Elvis / Loren" cover variation.

• COVER : VG , great Elvis/Loren/Belafonte/Horne color shot !
  White tape running at top on back-cover but DOES NOT cover the original graphic design. There's a few inches small crease on front-cover near Lena Horne's arm, but in my opinion it DOES NOT affect on the general effect. Some dirty in few spots due to age but nothing serious. Spine good.
  NO SEAM SPLITS - NO WRITINGS - NO RING WEAR.

• RECORD : VG , light scuffs on both sides but plays through fine. Labels very good.
