Megarare original 1956 Australianan first Issue MONO LP Release by ELVIS PRESLEY on the black, gold & white Label!
Record is in still very good Condition with some very fine Hairlines, some light Scuffing and some expected light general Agewear discernable. Vinyl is still very shiny.
Labels are in still excellent Condition.
LP Cover has clear Stickytape Repair around Top, Bottom & Spine; there is also some light Stainmarks on Front Cover otherwise the Front and Back Cover is in still very good Condition with some expected light general Ring-and Agewear to be noticed.
This is the megarare original 1956 Australian MONO LP Release by ELVIS PRESLEY! Original first Pressings are easily identifiable due to their stunningly attractive black & gold Labels with some white Writing (see Scan).
For this now megarare original first Pressings, of this most historic and most iconic of all ELVIS LP's, Australia adopted a Hard Cover Carton Sleeve for this LP, similar to the Covers used in the US. Needless to say that these Type of Covers have not survived to well over the last 57 Years and were always prone to notable Aging, Splits and general Coverwear. Therefore finding a Cover, as I have on Offer here, in still such relative nice Shape, despite some obviously expected Agewear, is a real Bonus!
It took me over 30 Years to find a Copy for myself of this impossible to find black & gold Label and now I have the Privilege to offer, for the first Time ever, another Copy of this ELVIS Mega-Rarity to some extremely lucky Collector out there!
What really pleasantly surprised me about this Copy, I've got on offer here, was how nicely preserved the Record itself still was. When I compared it with the Copy in my Collection it is it's perfect equal! And let me tell you, despite the general light Agewear I described above, it is almost unthinkable that better Copies of this Specimen still exist. Copies, even in this slightly used Condition, rarely ever turn up for Sale!
